Video in the internet that show how volume of liquid are measured.

By the video which I download from internet are show how the volume of liquid are measure. The tutor  used different size of the graduated cylinder  to measured volume of liquid and then she gave explanation and demonstration regarding the correct ways of using cylinder and show how to get the accurate volume of water level. The ways of measuring the volume was interesting. She uses a different size of the cylinder to measure,( large, medium and small. ) However in the video only shows one way of measuring  the volume of water. She only used the medium size cylinder and plain water to do the demonstration.

Although the teaching activitirs show is very interesting, but In her teaching aids I was thinking of the colored liquids is more suitable than plain liquids. This is becouse  liquids with colour are more easier for the pupils to get and check the measurement  scale.

From the video we knew that graduated cylinders are normaly and useful  tool in measure the volume of liquids as opposed to beakers and flasks, which can measure larger amounts. It has millimeter measurements along its height which vary based on size, a plastic footing to make it flat, and a plastic bumper near the top to prevent breakages.
